​​Carol Santana McCleary, PsyD
Bilingual Clinical Psychologist
Clinical Supervisor

Dr. McCleary is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who provides assessment and treatment of psychological disorders to children, adolescents, and adults and has significant experience treating depression, anxiety, behavioral, personality, and thought disorders. 

A primary focus in Dr. McCleary's work is the therapeutic relationship. Her goal is to have the individual feel emotionally supported, comforted, and encouraged in order to foster self-growth and change. Dr. McCleary attempts to provide a safe therapeutic environment, which enables the process of self-exploration and subsequent freedom from debilitating negative life patterns. She uses an assimilative psychodynamic integration approach and employs the use of standard reflective psychodynamic interventions in addition to cognitive, behavioral, and humanistic techniques. 


Dr. McCleary also has extensive experience conducting immigration related evaluations, including Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions, Political Asylum , U Visa, Extreme Hardship Waivers , and VAWA Visa. She is a native Spanish speaker.

Andranita Dogan, M.S.
Professional Counseling Resident

Andranita Dogan is a resident in counseling who graduated with a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and currently a doctorate candidate for Advanced Studies in Human Behavior. Andranita worked as a Therapist for Prince William County where she provided services to children, adolescents and adults through Intensive-In-home and Mental Health Skill-building Services.


Andranita also gained a wealth of experience and knowledge while working as a Medic with Texas Army National Guard and later Family Case Worker for the United States Marine Corp where she worked for 5 years with special needs children, and adolescents enrolled in Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP). As part of her experience working with the military, she was trained on how to bring a sense of calm in an emergency situation and she has continued to apply this training to clients served in the Mental Health field.


She also believes that everyone has within themselves the means to change and the ability to create and maintain their own happiness, they just need a sounding board to help bring it out. Andranita believes she is a good listener and advocate for people in general.




​​Francine Rodgers, MSW
Clinical Social Work Resident

Francine earned her Masters of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington. She has over ten years working with individuals of all ages from diverse backgrounds.

She believes in a collaborative approach and in meeting the individual where they are. Utilizing a holistic approach, Francine incorporates mindfulness-based interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered theories. Francine has also completed trainings in cognitive processing theory, which focuses on healing from traumatic experiences. She thoroughly works with each client to tailor services specific to their needs. She firmly believes every individual, couple and family, has the capacity to overcome, succeed and find more balance in their lives.


Karen Yaw, M.A.QMHP

Karen is a graduate of Liberty University with a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. She is a current member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and has been an International Affiliate of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors (AAPC). Karen has facilitated conferences, mission trips and retreats in Africa and Latin America.


She has experience counseling individuals and families in the areas of substance abuse, anxiety, depression, Adjustment disorder, PTSD and ADHD. Her counseling approach utilizes techniques from various therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Attachment Theory. She believes such interventions maintain a client’s autonomy while fostering growth and wellness. Karen is dedicated to helping clients develop a greater sense of self, awareness of need, and openness to healing relationships.


Karen is a member of the Woodbridge Maternal Mental Health Coalition. She is a part of a community-wide initiative to address the needs of maternal depression with a comprehensive team approach that provides wealth of supportive services and resources to those at greatest risk.

 


​​Elaine M. Gullotta, M.A.
Professional Counseling Resident

Elaine Gullotta is a Resident in Counseling providing treatment to adolescents and adults utilizing a mixture of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and coaching techniques. She is a certified traumatologist and a mental health first responder for The Green Cross during times of national disaster. Elaine is also trained in the field of positive psychology from both Harvard University and The University of Pennsylvania. This specialized training helps clients learn skills so that they can maintain happiness long after therapy sessions have ended.

 
As a former U.S. Army Officer, Elaine is passionate about ending the epidemics of drugs, divorce and suicide among our military and veteran populations. Elaine offers a safe and comforting place to be heard and understood, and provides a shoulder to lean on while clearer insights and better behaviors can be learned. Trained in Christian counseling and many eastern philosophies, Elaine also offers religious diversity to her counseling skills assisting individuals from numerous Christian and spiritual denominations.

Ilese Ominsky M.S. Ed.S CAGS

Mental Health Counselor Resident

Ilese Ominsky is a Licensed Clinical School Psychologist and Mental Health Counselor Resident. She holds a Master of Arts Expressive Therapies degree from Lesley College in Boston, MA and a Master of Science, Certified Advanced Graduate Studies and Educational Specialist Degree, Educational School Psychology from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Ilese also has a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communications from the Towson State University in Baltimore, MD. She has worked in both the clinical and K12-education settings for over 15 years and specializes in psychological & education assessments for students in grades K to 12.


As a School Psychologist, Ilese helps families and individuals who may be experiencing learning disabilities, language barriers and who are exhibiting high level social-emotional and neuro-development disorders. As a mental heath counselor, she works with clients experiencing Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Bipolar, Family-Related Stressors (i.e. divorces, blended families), Behavioral Problems, Trauma, and Developmental Delays including Autism Spectrum diagnoses. Ilese believes that no single approach is the right one for every individual, and she has been trained in a range of modalities including Art Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Gestalt Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-Drama and Motivational Interviewing. She provides interventions for learning, attention, mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Yaiza Vidal Sostre is a Bilingual Mental Health Counselor with over ten years of experience working in the Mental Health field.  Yaiza has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Puerto Rico.  Yaiza, holds a license as a Master Level Psychologist in Puerto Rico and is currently certified by the Counseling Board of Virginia as a Qualified Mental Health Professional for Children and Adults. 
 
As a Mental Health Provider, Yaiza is trained in multiple therapeutic approaches and has vast clinical experience assessing and treating a wide variety of clinical disorders including ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Autism. Yaiza believes in the power within a strong therapeutic alliance where individuals can find acceptance, guidance, and support in a space that promotes their healing and emotional growth as they move forward in their life journey.
